Costco recall: Throw away this popular seafood item ASAP, or return to warehouse for a refund

Costco is recalling yet another food item in the past few weeks due to the product causing a potential health risk.
The wholesaler said it is recalling its Kirkland brand of smoked salmon, supplied by Acme Smoked Fish Corp., due to listeria contamination.
Costco sent out the recall notice on Oct. 22, to people who purchased certain packages of Kirkland Smoked Salmon between Oct. 9 and 13.
The affected packages of smoked salmon have the lot code 8512801270, according to the recall notice.
Acme Smoked Fish is urging people who have purchased these packages of smoked salmon with the specific lot code to not consume the product and return it to their local Costco for a full refund.
Those with questions or concerns about the recall should call Acme Smoked Fish Corp. at (718) 383-8585 during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
